DIGITALSPEC Awarded Competitive Multi-Year Million-Dollar Federal Student Aid (FSA) Technology Office Support Services (TOSS) Contract to Improve Technological Efficiency

Washington, D.C. – The U.S. Department of Education, Federal Student Aid (FSA) has awarded a Prime Contract to edDIGITALSPEC, LLC. (DSPEC) for a five (5) year, $14 million dollar contract with the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Federal Student Aid (FSA) Virtual Data Center (VDC) Operations Support. DSPEC began work on the Technical Office Support Services (TOSS) Program on July 1, 2015 and provides technical and project management support services, that include Data Center (DC) Service Management, Operations Management, Application Management, Contract and Acquisition Support, Technical Services, Network Management, Security Management, Operations Management, Change Management, Project Management, and Capital Planning Investment Control (CPIC). DSPEC is tasked to support all aspects of IT Service Management, and ensure compliance with the Information Technology Information Library (ITIL) methodology, to include Incident Management, Asset Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Capacity Management, Disaster Recovery, and Patch Management for FSA to provide effective and cost-efficient customer service for millions of America’s college students through student loans and grants.
